I make photographs slowly on film and paper using remarkable cameras and silver-based photographic chemistry, processes and printing.
My cameras are from 60 to 130 years old and I use roll film, sheet film, paper and even glass plates to create images.
Working with film and paper takes time, traditional skills, craft and . . . more time. People who work with me find this reassuring and relaxing; they enjoy seeing images appear in the magic of the darkroom.
